Technology is much more than just instructing your students on how to use the computer or teaching a certain set of computer literacy skills. Used correctly the true integration of technology into your teaching becomes transparent and the focus and effort is on the learning activity. When students think about the lesson taught, the technology used should not be what they remember.

This has alot of potential for classroom use.
The most technology I have seen in class is the use of LCD projector with a laptop. I am not comfortable right now with a lot of the available technology that I am hesitant to use it. I like the idea of blogs though.
AT the knoxville high school, we use video projectors on a daily basis to watch pod casts of CNN Student News with Carl Azuz. The students realize they are watching the news but never realize that it takes a computer and a projector to get it in the board. The focus of the discussions after viewing the news is always on the content and not the techonology that is used to view the pod cast. It helps enrich the learning experience in the current events class. Trhough this technology, we as teachers can easily bring current news to our students and put it in a more user friendly version than a newspaper. The video process also eliminates reading differentiation since there is no reading required. There is closed captioning for hearing empared so the only differntiation needed would be for blind students.
